Latest Torch Handset

BlackBerry  Torch 9810 and 9850/9860 has been officially introduced by Research in Motion (RIM). If Research In Motion offers NFC technology on a Bold 9900 and 9930 series, features what could be expected BlackBerry lovers in three models of new Torch?

Torch 9850/9860 

At first glance, look Torch 9850 and 9860 remind us of the BlackBerry Storm that was released late 2008. Has a 3.7 inch screen, the Torch 9850 and 9860 featuring a full touch screen with a resolution reaching 253 DPI (dots per inch) is claimed to be the highest resolution for the BlackBerry screen. 

Like the Bold 9900 and 9930, both models is carrying the Torch Tuesday, 1.2 GHz processor which promises faster performance. Has a thickness of 11.5 millimeters, the Torch 9850 and 9860 also features a 5 megapixel camera and video recorder, HD (720p). 

For data storage, Torch 9850 and 9860 provides 4GB of internal memory capacity which can add up to 32GB via microSD. Some other features that can be enjoyed on handsets is access to WiFi, digital compass and GPS. 

Torch 9810 

Here it is the development of the 9800 Torch with distinctive design featuring a 3.25 inch touch screen and a qwerty slide keypad. 

Torch 9810 also offers a higher screen resolution is 640x480 pixels. The touch screen on this brand-new smartphone also claimed to be more responsive than previous models Torch. Despite having most of the same features as the Torch 9850 and 9860 (5 megapixel, 720p HD video recorder, WiFi and GPS), Torch 9810 has a larger internal memory capacity reaching 8GB. 

Prior to RIM issuing an official release, one of the largest U.S. operator AT&T has promoted this handset on its website. According to various sources, Torch 9810 will probably be priced at $ 200 with contract carriers.
